As a Vinyasa Flow teacher Simona is passionate about sharing yoga as a powerful practice for healing and growth.
After discovering her love for yoga 10 years ago she has been practicing in a variety of styles – from Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Dharma Mittra, Jivamukti, Sivananda, Yin to Acro yoga.
As a creative she loves the richness and expression of Vinyasa Flow and creates challenging and playful sequences always bringing fresh elements into her classes. On a deeper level her teaching is all about connecting with the natural flow of energy and practicing from a place of self-acceptance and compassion.
A certified Vinyasa Flow teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals she completed the 200hrs training in 2015 and is now continuing the 500hrs Advanced Vinyasa Flow TT with Aditya Yoga School led by founder and Senior Yoga Teacher Alessandra Pecorella – an inspiring and passionate yogini for over 26 years and dedicated student of Shiva Rea. Continuing her teaching journey she also studied with Simon Park and completed a 20hrs immersion of Embodying the Flow from Shiva Rea's PranaFlow TT.
On her travels she has spent several months in India, deepening her practice at the Sivananda ashram in Kerala as well as with intense Ashtanga training in Mysore. Over the years she has attended a variety of yoga retreats and festivals in the UK and internationally.
Simona is grateful to all her teachers who have inspired her and opened her to deeper levels of the practice, especially Alessandra Pecorella, her teacher and mentor for over 6 years. She has studied extensively with Meghan Currie, Simon Park, Celest Pereira and Isabell Britsch and has deepened her practice with inspiring international teachers such as Shiva Rea, Sri Dharma Mittra, Dylan Werner, Chris Chavez, Stephanie Snyder, Laura Sykora, Briohny Smyth & Dice Ilda-Klein and YogaBeyond – all of whom have deeply enriched her practice and teaching.
She lives yoga as a spiritual practice and is passionate about sharing it as ancient techniques that help us cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves and each other to live more fully from the heart.
